GEMEL-N, within the LiCCO framework, ensures the control of coastal habitats (intertidal benthic habitats and intertidal flora habitats and coastal hinterlands), in Basse-Normandy.

GEMEL-N is interested in the evolution of the studied sites and their ecological features (the feeding of coastal waders, estuary fish, resting sites of coastal waders and marine mammals, nesting sites of birds in the Val de Saire).

Recording the evolution of these features will be helpful in developing scenarios for the evolution of the sites within the programme.
