The Conservatoire du littoral’s main role allows it to be in permanent contact with the stakeholders on the ground (Syndicat Mixte des Espaces Littoraux de la Manche, local councillors and stakeholders). These people are the resource that assisted with researching historical documents.
- How do the marshes evolve?
Through the ages the management of the marshes by man has modified this landscape. These marshes are buffer zones. They participate in the regulation of water levels and in purification.
