There are seven LiCCo project locations, on the coast of Normandy and South-West England. They will all be affected in the medium to long term by climate change. They each represent a different type of coastline, in terms of their geomorphology, biodiversity, communities, management and user interests.
Within Normandy the sites are located within the departments of Seine-Maritime, Calvados and Manche:
- Saâne Valley
- Orne Estuary
- Veys Bay
- Saire Valley
- Sienne Havre
Within South-West England, the two sites are located within the counties of Devon and Dorset:
- Exe Estuary
- Poole Harbour, Wareham and Studland
